Born in Mexico City in 1970
Based in Sheffield, UK but working in Mexico City at list a season a year.
I believe in the process of thinking as a force thatshortensdistances, mainly between the one that writes and the one that is reading.
My practice has been a natural result of me being a foreigner, fascinated by the status of the stranger, the feeling of non synchronicity, the idea of belonging and not belonging at the same time. In a weird way, this has been explored mainly through how I perceive British nature.
As well as video, photography and animation I understand life through writing. My writing has been published by Palabras y Plumas Editores in Mexico City and Now Then Magazine in Sheffield, UK. I have shown my work nationally and internationally and have lived in places such as Botswana, Paris, Sheffield and Mexico City.

Creo en el pensamiento como fuerza acortadoradedistancias, sobretodo la que conecta a la que escribe y al que está leyendo.
Mi práctica artística es el resultado natural de ser extranjera. Siento fascinación por el estatus del extranjero, la sensación de des-sincronía, la idea de pertenecer y no pertenecer al mismo tiempo. De manera extraña, estas ideas han sido exploradas a través del cómo percibo la naturaleza en el Reino Unido
Palabras y Plumas Editores ha publicado escritos míos en México, en Sheffield la revista Now Then. Mi trabajo en otros medios ha sido exhibido de manera nacional e internacional y he vivivido y trabajado en Botzwana, Paris, Ciudad de México y Sheffield.
